SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Flat rate postage $9.95 for all orders

Please note that extremely bulky items are excluded from flat shipping rates and will be quoted individually.  We promise to keep you informed at all times with regards to shipping and pricing once we receive your order.

Depending on the area you live we will use different couriers (but ones that we trust). When your parcel is dispatched, you will be sent a confirmation email with the tracking number.

Orders sent by courier are unable to be shipped to PO Boxes. If you have provided a PO Box delivery address and your order will be sent by courier, we will contact you to discuss alternate delivery options.

 

We endeavour to ship orders as soon as we can, dependant on whether our items are In stock in our shop or whether they are on their way from our distributors. (Backorder). We might ship sooner if we do have them, and then shipping times will fall on the Couriers standard shipping policies.

BACKORDER means that we have ordered from our distributors/manufacturers and are waiting for them to send the products to us.

Please note that some of our products are handmade and/or imported and often, due to their popularity throughout Australia, we struggle to keep stock numbers high.  These products might take 2 to 3 weeks to make/arrive – but we will inform you once we receive your order, should there be a backorder.

We might send your order in separate parcels, should we have something in stock to send, while we wait for backorders/handmade products.

We are not a huge franchise that can stock thousands of each item, as we are a family owned, small, local business. We do our best and will increase stock levels over time – but it’s best to keep communication open with us, and let us know of any deadlines/birthdays etc ahead of time, and we’ll always update you and let you know what we think our ETA for goodies will be if backordered.  (We’re always here and happy to chat!)  We do rely heavily on distributors bringing the products into Australia.   (And with the big brands, they are often in such demand that the distributors struggle to keep stock levels up themselves!)

What if I have a specific date I need an item?

If you need your order before a specific time or date, please leave a note at the checkout process so we can clearly see when the order is required for – or email us at sales@learnbyplay.com.au / or use the Contact Us Form on our website.

We promise you to do our best to get your order out to you as fast as possible.

PURCHASING FROM OVERSEAS FOR AUSTRALIAN RESIDENTS
We offer the possibility to order from all over the world.  Just make sure the Shipping address you use is where you wish items to end up!  If the items are a GIFT, we’ll package beautifully and make sure no pricing or invoices are shown.

 

FOR GIFTS – please just add a note at checkout stating it is a Gift (and if you let us know who it’s from – granny, nana etc – and who it’s to, we’ll put a special gift card in the parcel for you).  No invoices/pricing go into our parcels for Gifts.

FOR EDUCATORS & FACILITIES – We print and add your Invoice to your parcel, so you receive these for your Accounting records.

LOCAL PICKUPS/DROP OFF IN THE GOLDCOAST.
Need something really quick? No problem, we can arrange a local pick up or dropoff. Just Contact Us to arrange or use the Coupon Code for Free Shipping at Checkout (GOLDCOAST).  If you’ve paid shipping on our website but collect local, we’ll refund you the shipping.
